our new pet

we just got a blue male pacific parrotlet. his name is ziggy. he hatched on march 28, 2005 so he is still young (buthe wont get any bigger).

parrotlets are the smallest parrots in the world and are capable of speaking as well as their larger brothers. they live 20-30 YEARS!!!

thats an african grey parrot. those are some of the smartest birds. its believed that they have the mental capacity of a five year old child. they also cost upwards of $1000
