ive got 18's on the p5, should i go spoolin springs, tien springs,or save some money and just get the progressive? and will i have to get an alignment after dropping, i know i probabaly will, but i want to make sure. also, when getting it aligned, do u have to use a camber kit?

I have spool springs and 18s'. No rubbing, but I have +48 offset wheels, and Federal 595, 215/35/18s'. I did get a wheel alignment after replacing springs, mainly to save my tires. The car rides straight, and nice. All depends on your wheel offset though. Later

im running 18x7.5 Gracing Sekis with Federal 595s 215 35 18. i have a h&r 1.5 incho drop. the front of my car is a lil higher than it used to be (or at least it feels that way) so i think when the money comes around ill go to a full jic suspension or if tien has a full set up maybe something like that. theres also pics of my car with the rims on it in the rims section.

Oh damn. Bro you got the wrong offset. Even now with four people in the car you will rub. I would not recommend rolling it period. You will rub no matter what.

That's right bro. Even with stock springs when you have a full load and take corners or go over bumps it will rub guaranteed. Therefore when you lower the car it will only enhance the problem.
Coilovers don't help anything. You would need to ride on some very stiff dampers and high spring rates to avoid suspension travel. Not advisable should you decide to keep your kidneys. lol.
You're not stupid, just not informed. THat's why I try to hit every post even though my fitment recipe is there. I know it's inevitable.
Solution:
Roll the s*** out of the fenders. Risk cracking paint
Sell the wheels and buy the proper offset.
THose are the only two reasonable answers. Although not very reasonable they are your only options.

no1stunna why don't you post a side pic so we can see how far you're sticking out. I highly doubt those wheels are 40mm offset. i bet you there's a way to make those wheels fit without rubbing. first thing to look at is how far your wheels stick out and how much room there is between the strut and sidewall on the inside. are those 7.5 wheels or 8s?
john those wheels look good on your car. imo your ride height is perfect. going any lower is going to give you a harsher ride. all you need is a kit to complete the look.

Those don't look to far out no1....have you tried loading the trunk with heavy stuff, and going for a ride to see if they rub??
