Please post pics of aftermarket cd player pics in a p5.

I just brought a new cd player and I wanna see how it looks like installed in a p5. When you post the pics, please list what install kit it is too please.

That was with the Metra kit. It broke. I have the Scosche kit but haven't put it in yet. I'll update with pictures/comments when I do.

I brought the same kit, the Metra and I am confused. Does the cd player just sit on top of the pocket or what?

I think the MSP kit looks much better, in my option.

with the Metra kit, i would assume that the player just sits on top of the pocket and is stabilized by the player sleeves' tabs. I got a pocket from the dealer for free and think it looks a little better than the Metra or scosche (sp?) kits. I had to fabricate a stabilizer bar for it though

Hit the "Click here for pics" in my signature to see my custom install. I used a piece of plexi that was overlayed with CF to fill the area. Tried to use the Scosche kit but it just wouldn't work. I'd post pics, but don't have any at work.

So I guess I gotta do some custom work inorder for this to fit in my car I guess eh?

not really, just get the pocket of choice and stabilize, and slide the player sleeve on top..should be pretty flush, then bend out the tabs on the sleeve and you have a pretty secure CD player. Might need to find a wedge of some sort to go in between the pocket and player for extra stabilization.
