STORM AHHHH Hide yo cars!!

Pics were taken within 2 minutes each other.

I'm pissed, I was expecting like hail and crap, not a damn thing here at Powder Springs except a lil rain. OH well, apparently Barrett (g/f works there) trafic lights went out and they had a lot of smaller peices of hail.

Damn weatherman I'm pissed off, anyone see anything cool?

had some hail over on peachtree ind. luckily my car was in the shop getting the TB coolant bypass done

hmm.. bad weather.... Tulsa has been really lucky the last few years... all the HUGE tornadoes have hit OKC instead... bad for them though :(

I literally had to race the storm home. Then the wife and I were going to the Ingles and I told her we have to take her car.

Wife: "Why"
Me: "Because it may hail and we're not damaging the MP3."
Wife: "oh"
Me: "now go make me a sammich!"

J/K about the last line. We had hail a little bigger than a quarter here.

Lmao, Wayne.

We got hit pretty good here.

Here's my thread with pics: http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99154

God, I hope my car is OK. I won't be able to fully determine damage until tomorrow morning.

I was standing in my back yard watching the lighting, when all of a sudden a glimmering cell tower (shining due to the sunlight behind me reflecting on the tower against a dark backdrop of clouds) suddenly, and quickly, fade away. I breifly watched a wall of water approach, so I figured it was time to head to the front and go inside. No sooner than I stepped on my front porch did the sky just open up. It was crazy and cool as hell.

I'm still curious as to how close any sort of tornado or cyclone was considering the little black rocks that were all over the Miata and P5 after the hail melted. Even stranger was how the hail stopped, and the rain suddenly turned to a slight drizzle....makes ya wonder what was around the corner.

Not much happened near me either... Got all these reports that crap was going down up on barrett and something about a tornado. So we kinda got worried shut down all the machines and even put down the gates just in case windows broke or something. But nothing! Just lots and lots of rain at wolf camera in the avenues at west cobb. Then some lady comes in saying that baseball size hail is heading our way.. and I nearly started crying and started to panic. I wasn't going to let anything happen to my car. But come to find out.. she was a stupid bitach and nothing was going to happen. So needless to say... was just a long boring and uneventful night.

My wife's car got hit pretty bad, luckily I was still at Avondale. I'll post some pics whenever I get home during the daytime. Anybody know a good dent repair place?

DOH!! How large was the hail? How many dents are there?

Just glanced across the roof when I got home, probably 10-15 dents there (behind the sunroof). I got home about an hour after it ended, and picked up a handful with several pieces bigger than a quarter, and that's after an hour of melt time.

OMG. That's gonna be tough. I'm soo sorry to hear that. You may want to look into a place by the name of "Dent King" or something along that line. However, that many dents isn't going to be cheap. From what I understand, insurance companies typically total out cars with significant hail damage :( .

I doubt it'll be totalled, we'll see. But our freaking comp deductible is $500, maybe more I forget, but it's alot. Sux.:'(

my hood surived the hail attack, i was freaking in house while it was going on.

i was at the point of going out side with a blanket and covering the hood, but by the time i found one thick enuf it was over.
