Lost a terminal screw

Hey folks,

As you can see in the attachment (rightmost terminal), I lost a screw and a "plate" (that clamps down on the wire) to one of the terminals of a Pioneer amp. It's a friend's amp and I have to return it soon.

Where can I get a replacement for a terminal screw like that? I don't think that this is a home depot or a radio shack item..

Re: Terminal Screw

I have some terminal blocks similar to the one you've displayed. One of them uses no. 8-32 screws and the other, a heavy duty one, uses no. 10-32 screws.
Machine screws in these sizes are readily available at Home Depot or electronic supply houses. If they are metric sized screws, I couldn't help you out here.

I can find the screws, but the hardest thing is that terminal plate... hmm, maybe a washer will do.

those wires are a little small, i recommend ring or fork terminal ends for your wires, and then solder your wires to the ends to best contact

call Pioneer up(which is kind of cost prohibitive but since I am that picky I might do that for myself) or go to a shop that installs them and go directly to the guys in the bay and see if they have a spare they are willing to share.
