wheres the cheapest place to get a turbo timer? im tryin not to spend an insane amount of money, im hoping maybe 75 dollar range. i've been lookin around on ebay and some other places. anyone have any ideas/suggestions? thanks in advance.

goto a car audio place, sometimes there secerity kits come with turbo timers on them, that way when its installed you can still use your keyless entry. The cost I dont know much about.. TT are pretty cheap I have the apexi one that has all kinds of crap on it for 98 bucks from local speed shop.

i actually just found an hks type 0 turbo timer on the corksport websit for 84 bucks. anyone know anything about this? is it any good?

also found a greddy turbo timer for 79 from apex.

anyone know any sites to get an alarm/turbo timer package he's talking about up there ^^^. thanks.

That is what I have love it.

i just did a search and found out some ppl have a compustar. its an alarm with a built in turbo timer. and i found one for only 70 bucks (the version without the pager). does anyone know if its hard to install, cause i dont wanna have to pay extra for installation if its somethin i can take care of in a weekend.

thanks for the link, and the wiring codes will be helpful. but do you or anyone know anybody who has installed it themselves? im not about to drop $150 so curcuit city can do it for me. thanks.

Same here, I just cut the two wires.

EDIT: I'm glad you still have Philly's marvelous quote in your sig. That was too funny to forget!

I can vouch for the goodness of a Type1, it owns. Whats this about extending the wires though? I didn't have to do that.

from link

I put in an alarm with turbo timer built in so I don't need it anymore. In perfect working condition, however you will have to lengthen some of the wires as the alarm shop cut them kind of short. (Not a big deal)

Because when the stereo shop uninstalled it they cut the wires a little short when taking out all the relays and stuff that were installed with it to make it work with my alarm (I switched to an alarm that has a Turbo timer built in) So basically the wires that don't go to the harness plug end need to be extended to plug into wherever you want with crimp connectors or soldering, not a big deal. I can look at the old alarm wiring to see if I can find what i need, 3 of them have connectors on the end already so the original wires may be there still.

I get it. Its a REFLECTIVE POTATO.
In a manner of speaking, yes.

I like to think of it as a Disco Potato, akin to a Disco Ball. Anyways, that's what the Internet told me a disco potato was when I did an image search for Disco Potato. :p
