My lil sis (19) decided to take out dads truck & go out & party, last night & on her way home it was raining she wound up trying to avoid a deer , rode onto the right shoulder for a bit then crossed the road & was airborne off a cliff into someones yard & hit a tree. No airbags went off (should have), but shes ok. Please dont drink & drive.

oh yeah def no one in my fam believed that, well i really really do hope she learned her lesson, she just bought a cheap lil hyundai last night on her own.

are you sure that truck even has airbags? looks a bit old to have one if you ask me, but it is possible. But with a car that old, if your sister is short, she may have been lucky that the air bag didnt go off. Glad shes not hurt, tell her to call you next time, no matter how late it is or how much she drank.

yeah its a 96 the air bag sensor is in the front & was hit dead on but didnt go off..she did have her seat belt on tho.

glad she's ok, a kid near me just died recently from drinking and driving....it's not worth it

I'm glad she's okay.

Why do people keep drinking and drivind after all the stories we hear about people getting killed and hurt...... (braindead

I'll tell you why.

Because you start when you are 19. You drink one or two beers and you really aren't drunk.. You aren't even buzzing so you know you can drive.

A year later, you've been drinking for a year longer. So now you've had 3-4 and you are sure you arent drunk and are barely tipsie. So you are sure you can drive

A year later, You've been drinking a year longer. You've had quite a few throughout the night.. but none in the last hour, so you are sure you can drive.. and someone dies.

My ex boyfriend was killed by a drunk driver while he was waiting to turn left at a green light.. They hit him going 90 miles an hour.

People always say "dont drive drunk" but thats not enough.. dont drive when you've been drinking.. PERIOD

Wow. Glad to hear she's ok! Good thing she was driving that huge truck. I hope she's learned her lesson now that she'll be driving a Hyundai. :(
