Racing Beat exhaust owners.....

Do you have a sound clip of the exhaust or any Pics? I want it to sound good, not like a motorcycle.

Also, where did you get it from...and how much did you pay for it?

We offer the RB Protege systems for $430.00 plus shipping. It's about $475.00 shipped. CA residents are subject to sales tax.

Thanks, Rishie

Rishie, do you have accurate dyno tests of the different exhaust systems you sell? Which, have you found, to yeild the most hp over stock?

Take it easy guys, just checking to see who follows Formula One Racing on this forum:D

For those who don't know, Rubens Barrichello is one of the Drivers of the Schurrari Formula One Racing Team.

Anyone?

You mean Rubens Barrichello: the guy who plays 2nd fiddle to Schuey and if was allowed to race, he would actually give him a run for his money!

I am an F1 nut. It is THE pinnacle of motorsport and people on here who dont watch it, dont know what theyre missing! IT is the pinnacle of technology and if anyone claims to be an enthusiast then they have to like F1-I believe.

Off topic: I hope that the BMW.Williams team are able to finally make a run at Ferrari but....not gonna happen. McLaren-Mercedes I think would have a chance if the FIA hadnt outlawed exotic metals in engines. This year i am hoping that the Ford powered teams (Jaguar and Jordan) do better for Ford's sake.

dyno...

Theres a DYNO TEST in the RB site. It takes away some torque, but adds HP.
SO...we can rev it up a bit more before torque and HP starts to drop...and shift to next gear.

My friends has a civic Si that has 157HP to the wheels and only has 112 lb/ft of torque, and that car is a bullet.
So I think, for N/A setups, the torque will continue dropping to gain some HP.
Lets forget low end torque (we have plenty of it over other cars)...we need it at higher RPM

Its just a thought...any suggestions?

Hey, if you are talking about the Racing Beat Exhuast muffler sold at the Mazda dealership, then the muffler is virtually identical to the MazdaSpeed exhaust. I really like it, though it does drone at speeds upward to 70mph. I love the low tone, though. I installed it myself, and this exhaust is an awesome bolt-on accessory! Highly recommended!

Here's something interesting . . . I was looking over the dynographs that I saved on my computer and pulled up an old dyno of team moon . . . it shows increases in both torque and horsepower, pretty evenly throughout the whole range. I wanted to get this exhaust, but it sounds like they are no longer producing it due to lack of interest. Too bad, cause they were well priced too ($300-$329). I'll attatch the dynochart. Let me know if this is legit, I want to get an exhaust with gains in both hp and torque, that seems like the best way to go.

Also, does anyone have a dyno of the Magnaflow? That supposedly gets 8.2 whp gain and 10.2 ft-lb gain. That's what their site said (www.justmagnaflow.com). Anyone have a graph to confirm this????

If you are looking for a good-sounding and power gaining exhaust with a tasteful tip appearance then get the racing beat exhaust. it gains both torque and HP throughout the power band. i don't know of the gains from many of the other companies because they don't post dyno graphs. for a RB exhaust you will spend with shipping over $450. check out their site. racingbeat.com. good luck searching (wiggle)
