ok took the wrap off went for a drive STILL GLOWING! what could it be not getting enough air or fuel for cooling?

has anyone shaven the 2.0L protege cyl head? if so, is it worth the cost? (my friends dad has a machine shop that will shave the head for $75 and port and polish it for another 50-75) noticable hp gains? or more problems? im doing my homework this time... :)

thats sexy.... i can get my headers scotchbrighted and powdercoated at work (haha yay for being an aircraft mechanic) should have know that wraping cheap headers would end badly....

yup thats them.....yay for cheap headers! i guess the wrap is coming off tomorrow, hopefully that will save them before its too late...

oh i forgot to mention, the headers are wrapped with header wrap.... are they too hot? - hence the glowing bright orange (right where they all come together) still breaking in maybe? the headers are made by tsudo

i have a 2003 protege 5 tiptronic... the apex'i s-afc2 book says for a 2003 familia bj5p with a zl-de engine does this sound right? or possibly a bj3p with a b3-me engine? im confused.... anyone installed one on a pr5 yet? thanks! ryan
