do u have a multimeter?? battery should read anywhere from ~11.8-12.4 V.....with car on (alternator charging) ~13.8-14.4 V if the alternator is shot, obviously battery will not charge, & voltage will just trickle down till it just dies.....jump starting will charge the battery enough to start...

thanx! i stumbled upon sylvania's headlight restoration kit & the lenses needed to be cleaned up (i recommend this kit to restore weathered/oxidized lenses....uber easy to do, & outcome was awesome....we'll see how good it really is in a few months of exposure & multiple washes)...i figured...
