I was extremely dissatisfied with the lighting in the trunk area so added some LEDs in the lift gate. They work even with the cargo cover attached and have been super helpful.
Wired with a flush push button switch next to the cigarette lighter. All wiring is routed through the existing grommet...
2014 has 3 dash speakers, Ive got the Bose system and replaced the dash ones with coaxial speakers that included a tweeter.
Why don't you just pry off the grilles and find out if wires are there and what connections they have?

Fully supported all the way, this thing came out rock solid.
The way that I wired it I can use my fog lights whenever I like, even if the car is off. The wire that we are cutting leads to the BCM which is what cuts the power to the fogs when high beams come on, which is the main reason I wanted to do this mod.

For the relay in the fuse box i just bent pin 86 to a 90 degree angle and attached a spade connector...
I'm running LED fogs with no issues. Similar setup to what you've posted.
There is a potential depth issue with the stock heat shield (not sure what its called) inside the fog housing. In my case this needed to be cut and pulled out through the bulb hole. It was not easy.
