    Thanks...I should have posted that I've read the manual even before posting this question...but I think I got the most sensible answer from the dealership--they will try to program it through the computer..The temperature settings were also in Celsius so they will convert it to Fahrenheit...

    I treied the left knob near the tachometer but it only enhances the brightness of the red lights..I hope it's not a factory defect..
