Blue GT w/ Navi + CAI

Got my CAI installed at the dealer (surprise present (attn) ) and they did the update as well, I didn't have to ask. It runs smoother but I also notice the mileage is off by about 1-2mpg since the reflash. We'll see if it adjusts back or the reflash changed it that much.

The car is used, plus 6K on the wheels! I paid $400 over invoice price for a NEW MS3 GT. I could buy a new sport for his price - he'll be lucky to get 20K. Dealer near me has 6 MS3's on his lot, 4 have been there for 3+ months, just need to shop around a bit to find a deal. Whoever buys that...

It's a legit question if he's getting excessive smoke, like I said, I had smoke and it turned out to be the turbo seals. Bottom line is have the dealer check, thats what the warranty is for! :) As for the SVO smoke, it's a Ford - what do you expect! ;)

Does your tailpipe look a little too dirty? WHat about when you floor it, same puff of smoke? I had a car with the same problem, turned out to be the turbo as mentioned earlier. It progessively got worse over time. It's under warranty, have it looked at by the pros.

I live in Northern VA and drive a lot in DC and central Virginia. Which bumper is damaged on your car? I can keep an eye out for a damaged, red MS3. Also, if you have a receipt or pix of your CAI installed you should be able to get reimbursed.

In northern VA I paid $400 over invoice after shopping a couple dealers against each other. They all tried the "hot sales line" and "only sell for MSRP" but I watched 5 cars sit on their lot for about a month and knew they weren't moving that fast!

Agreed, my car has been running great, no issues. Lots of people only post problems, not lack of problems.
