I also have the B&M and once the car heats up, I get the same squeaking noise. It cools down and goes away. I tried to take the shifter out, but it is such a tight fit I couldn't get it out. As for your snap ring, you need to push like a son of b**** to get the shifter all the way in. Agree...

I have a 2003 Pro5 with 3900 miles on it. It has leather, polished wheels, in dash 6 disc changer w/sub woofer, B&M shifter, sunroof w/deflector and roof racks. Need to sell. How much should I ask for it? :confused:
