ill throw down $100 for the whole gear set to 77389, i want to rebuild my tran so was there anything wrong with any of the shifting before like bad synco's

i have an 01 mp3 5speed transmission that i want to swap in my protege but i want to rebuild it before i do that. when i took it out of my pre. car the 2nd and 3rd gear have been not catching. if anyone has a new to barely use set of gear. i would be interested to buy
