I have that magnet mount in my Mazda3, and it works well, the phone is about as close to me as it is in your photo, with the same situation of draping the wire over the steering wheel. I can see if the CX5 windshield would be deeper how this mount won't be easily reached.

Based on the prices people here got, I think I may have overpaid just a bit. I just put a deposit on a 2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring (no premium) Machine Gray. I got it for $30,050 plus TTL. Maybe I should have tried to get another $1k off, but overall I'm satisfied since I have 0.9% for 63 month...

The new 2017 CX-5 would be a perfect opportunity to update whatever software and hardware necessary to get this working, one would assume.

Hi all, I'm looking at a 2016.5 CX-5, iActive and Tech, gray or black. I'm getting a quote from a dealer over email. MSRP $33,480, quote is $30,326? Looks like a 9.4% discount. Does that look good? This is not the OTD cost, still have to tack on the title fees and tax (NJ 7%). Thanks in advance.
