Took it to the dealer, they heard the sound, but had no clue how to fix it.

Rattle in rear door while driving at speed...sounds like a loose metal rod in door

Hi, A problem started a few weeks back where when I'm driving over 40 mph, I'm getting this noise in the driver's side rear passenger door, like there is a loose metal wire or piece of metal clanging in the door. When I open up the door and move it back and forth, can't reproduce the sound...

Best door speakers to get without upgrading stock bluetooth unit or adding an amp?

I replaced just the dash speakers with the polks and found that helped quite a bit, because seems to send more power to other speakers and I adjusted the fade to be about 70% to the rear, and so the sounds feels a lot more balanced, and not just coming from the front. Bass picked up a bit too...

Installing 8" Speakers in Mazda CX-5

Thanks guys. One final thing...with these 8" Lanzers installed, does it make a noticeable difference in the bass? The stock speakers aren't horrible, but they're not great. How much impact in the base do these have? Looking for a much deeper, cleaner bass than the Bose stock system.

It's all just a solid block of foam under the seat upholstery, so it probably loses its firmness over time. Side bolsters tend to bug people who prefer to sit with a wider stance or have some trigger points going on making the contact uncomfortable.

Installing 8" Speakers in Mazda CX-5

So, did you install the Lanzer 8" speakers and the speaker cups without having to use any mdf template? How did you go about installing these to the doors? And finally, are you guys just cutting the factory speaker clip harness off and wiring directly to the new speakers with some electrical...

With the leather, when I was done one side looked factory, the other side is a little crinkly. I'm going to let it be for a bit to make sure I like my trim work and am sure it's comfortable. When I think I'm all settled with it, I'll probably take it to a local auto upholstery shop to trim up...

I agree that seat bolstering on the sides is too narrow, I'm 6'2", 180 lbs. What I did is take the seat out (only 4 bolts hold it to the floor, and 1 harness clip underneath), then put the whole seat on a shop bench and took the cover off (just a few clips here and there). Then I trimmed the...

New 2016 CX-5 Questions and thoughts

Looks like steering wheel still lacks a source button to change between audio sources easily.

Will there ever be a fix for the audio source brain fart?

Will there ever be a fix for the audio source brain fart?

Love this CX-5 I got, with grand touring package, but Bose stereo sounds just ok. Not horrible, but could be a lot better. I'm not really too concerned with Pandora or streaming the Iphone music app, and many have expressed concerns with that. But what irks me to no end is that despite having...
