Any advice on how to get speedo gear out? I need to get this out to add fluid. I removed the bolt holding it down and there is no room to pry. Any ideas? Thanks

I got the 10mm bolt that holds the speedo cable off and disconnected the cable. The problem is I cannot get the gear out to add the fluid. Is it OK if I reconnect the cable and pull on it? There is no room to pry it off as the Hayes manual recommends. It is a 1990 Protege Any other ideas?

How do you change the A/C Belt on this car (1990 Protege)? It looks a little confusing. I'm OK with the basic pivot bolt/adjustment bolt type. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.
