Unless a fascia comes out, I'll probably end up selling my Demio (unfortunately) and buying a Verisa. I don't really want to, but I listen to the radio a LOT in my car and it's frustrating not being able to pick up all the stations properly.

Radio dash/fascia kits don't exist for the Mazda Demio at this point.

I've been trying to do the same thing for over a year, as I have the same radio. Even if you can get it off, there's no fascia to replace it with to install your own custom radio. There was a link posted here a while ago to a video about installing a radio on top of the dashboard. Not really...

That's for a Mazda 2, not a Demio. The dashes are quite different (altho a Demio is also sometimes called a Mazda 2, they are very different cars).

CorkSport: I tried them, and they don't have one available - where did you get your information from? I'd be interested to know.

I'm in the same boat as you two, I have a 2003 Demio that is a great little car, but no one in the world seems to have heard of a custom fascia for the dashboard to allow you to install your own radio.
