Well, mine has 26000 miles on it and guess what? I noticed oil spots in the garage and the burnt smell you guys are talking about. In addition I had a flat and the repair guy said that my front tires are shot. They did not wear evenly...
Here is my repair list for the shop on Monday:

I would not get NAV. Where I live, I know where to go. It's when I travel that I need the NAV. This is often by plane and car rental, so I have a portable one with me. The few times I needed it at home, it served me just as well.
This makes a lot of sense. Thank you! After I saw the fog, I did turn the air off and went to manual mode a couple of minutes later. This took care of the fog bit I could not get the fan to rev up to actually blow a lot of air. For the rest of the trip, the air conditioner would provide cool air...
Today for the third time I noticed a problem with the air conditioning. In rare cases and after one year of ownership and 20,000 miles later I have noticed the first problem with my CX-7.
I went on a 4h interstate drive across the Midwest in 90+ degree weather today. After about 3h of 75mph...
When I looked into replacing my Ford Explorer Sport, I seriously considered only the Murano and was ready to talk shop with the dealership. Hours before I discovered the Mazda on the internet, went to take a test drive and decided to buy the Mazda that day.
I believe these cars can be...
Has anyone tested yet how many miles that car will last after the indicator goes on?
Please take note the next time and post to this thread stating RWD or AWD, driving style and # of miles you held out before getting gas. The goal is get a feel for how long the average CX-7 can last.
I'll...
I have had mine for 7+ months with 11k on it. The carpet on the driver's side is really starting to wear especially in the heavy duty spots. I had so far zero problems with the car but the carpeting is simply unacceptable. I am afraid a replacement with a similar carpet is only going to buy...
Mine do not seem to heat the seats unless I actually sit in them. I have noticed this a few times when I let the car idle to let it defrost after those cold outside nights.
Is everyone else's behind feeling the same thing?
I went 30 miles on I 80 the other day going 70-80mph. It took the needle a little beyond the empty indicator. I am interested to hear how far other people have gone and under what circumstances.
My gripes:
1. Better quality interior materials.
2. Smoother power delivery when starting.
3. Lighted vanity mirrors.
What I absolutely love:
1. Handling
2. Braking
3. Mid-range performance when passing.
Pretty much what most people are saying, it seems.
