Exactly. There was a thread not to long ago about how the seat doesn't fit everyone's body. This is exactly why. My boss has many cars that I drive frequently, from acuras to bentleys and these are the least bolstered seats my (butt) has ever been in.

Agreed. The problem is the seat. It looks good and feels good, but just doesn't hold your body in one position. Aftermarket seats are the way to go. When I take corners with more than average g's, I have a death grip on the steering wheel in order to keep myself from sliding out of the seat. I...
No, it never looks purple to me. I think new mazda 3 is a little different in color. Our blue is closer to the WRX STi blue. I think its a great color if you can find one. It looks really hot with our hyper silver RH's or some new gunmetals and smoke/charcoal tinted windows.
