hvaserv, im doing the same swap tomorrow. i bought a used 04 engine off an automatic and putting it in my 04 manual. did you have a lot of trouble installing the engine, and any advice?

o.k. i have another question. i found an engine but it is from an automatic mazda 3 and mine is manual. Does the transmission have anything to do with the type of engine that goes in it? In other words does an engine from an automatic 3 fit a standard 3? I've asked around and most people say...

I blew out the engine on my 3 a couple months ago and am looking for a replacement. I have an '04 and recently found an '06 engine. My question is does anyone know if an '06 2.3L Manual will fit an '04 2.3L Manual?

I removed my front license plate and put a Japanese style plate. It is made out of moldable aluminum. I put double sided tape on it, and I've got to say it looks pretty damn sweet, I've gotten a lot of compliments on it.

This may be a dumb question, but did you have to pay for anything when you took your car in for this. My ride has 27k miles and I am experiencing some of the same problems.

I need some new tires for my 3 and I'm a little low on funds. A local shop has some 18 gloss black rims with Falken Z-rated tires for $1100 total. My question is are Falken tires any good?

Yeah they hooked me up with a red 6-speed Rx-8, I had it for 9 days. Made me want to trade in my III (as awesome as it is) for that rotary. Taking my car back in in a couple of weeks cuz my window messed up again, hopefully I will get that 8 again.

Same exact thing happened to my III. Air bag light wouldn't turn off, it is a sensor that makes the car think that there is no airbag. Got that fixed. Drivers side window wouldn't auto either, supposedely a new motor was put in. Was working fine for a while until yesterday I had to take it...

Yeah I would make it functional, there is no point on putting something on a ride just for looks and nothing else. And to you haters out there, sorry if I wanna make my 3 look a little different and not follow the cookie cutter image.
