It seems that disabling overdrive has solved the problem.:D

I have a 2003 MPV van and notice that acceleration is a little sluggish. When I accelerate, I hear the engine reving, but don't seem to be accerating that much for a couple of seconds. After a second or two, the engine seems to finally grip onto the right gear and the van slightly jerks forward...

I just bought a 2003 MPV with only 15KM on the odometer. I notice that there is a "burning plastic" smell after driving the van. (I can smell it outside and inside the van.) Is this normal and will it go away?
