The Infamous MSP Clunk: Info & Solutions

I used these: http://store.awrracing.com/sway-bar-bracket-for-19-21-5mm-mp3-bars-replacement/ Put some new poly bushings in as well. Had to clip my factory brackets into my vice and hammer them into shape but after that and installed... never had an noise out of the rear again. Made it SOLID...

Thank you pot holes on the highway...

I actually found a place that deals with only European and Asian vehicles. They were able to get me setup. They should be ready for pickup tomorrow and getting that and my Tokico Illumina suspension put on as well as the Ford Escape front end links. So can't wait for Monday evening when...

Thank you pot holes on the highway...

Hey All, I need to get new axles for my car. Hit a nasty pothole on the highway going 75 mph. Drove what looked to be fine, but the cold patch they used blew out, peppers the paint job with the material and slammed the car into what looks to be a 4" deep crater now. In the process, it also...

The Infamous MSP Clunk: Info & Solutions

At this point with no chance, so it seems, of getting brackets... I am willing to try anything! I am tired of pulling the bushings off every few months to re-grease. Once it warms up I will try this. I had success with swapping out the bushings with poly bushings but that only gave a few...

Rear sway bar keeps flipping forward.

Do you happen to know the stud to stud length measurement is on your rear endlinks?

Rear sway bar keeps flipping forward.

I have had the rear sway bar out a couple times. That isn't a big deal at all. The front is money. Nothing at all wrong with the front... at least not that I have found. Level and stable!

Rear sway bar keeps flipping forward.

I thought about that and did. I also had a strut fail so I replaced them with Tokico Illumina struts and coils. After that, still the same with the height difference.

Rear sway bar keeps flipping forward.

So to tie onto this thread, as I hope it has to do with the suspension, the driver side rear of the car sits about 3/8's to 1/2" lower than the passenger side when nothing and no one is in the car. Any ideas on that one? I really don't want to have to start replacing everything in the back end...

Rear sway bar keeps flipping forward.

I can take a pic tonight on my way home. I have my car sitting in a garage. Don't feel like doing more damage to the car than needed with my 70 mile daily commute.

Rear sway bar keeps flipping forward.

I got rid of the clunk just by putting the polyurethane bushings on the rear sway bar. I haven't had the "clunk" since.
