Howdy folks. Long time no see. Kinda dropped off face of planet earth there for a while. Bought a house, got married, company got downsized to 3 engineers (me being one of them). But at least winter is over, the 8 is out of the garage, and time to start going to car meets again!

Herb Chambers' Cars and Coffee-April 10

May come out of hibernation for this one. Have plans later sat am, but may drive over to this early. Bought a house in Stow a few months back, so this is only 15-20min max from where I live. Kinda hard to find an excuse not to go when it's so close. Will probably know better tomorrow.

I have to drive from Columbus back to the Boston area more often than I'd like for work. The drive from Rochester to Albany on the thruway is the worst, most boring road in the northeast.

    NEPOC Crew

I've fallen off the face of the earth lately and missed this one too, LOL. My name is Mike, and I drive a '06 RX-8 Shinka. Here's a crappy cell pic of car in current form. Finally got the fog strakes and grills installed.

Small world. Used to go to the meadowlands events all the time too. Back when US open wheel racing was worth watching. Tried to watch the indy race sat night, was painfully boring. Wrong type of track for those cars/rules.

Way back when in the early 90's my dad had connections at chevy motorsports, he worked in GM quality control. We got hot pit passes at the Pocono races every year. You want to talk loud, try standing on pit lane when the green flag drops on that track. Take a deep breath and hold it as they...

If you are looking to keep cats away, i have 2 words for you: paintball gun. Works on any critter out there. The ball will explode on them, and coat them in paint. Cats HATE this. Especially if it gets on their back. They won't be able to wash it off themselves, and will go nuts trying to...

    Tunning/custom shopt near natick

Try luxury details in Framingham, they have a great rep. I don't know about the clearbra install, but they can take care of the bumper chips no problem.

Don't know if you are looking for stock pads or something better. Corksport had everything I needed in stock, their prices compared well too. Had to wait a week for the rear pads to come in, hawks have been in low supply lately. Just remove the lower caliper bolt, swing caliper out of the...

Got my hawk pads and ss brake lines installed this weekend. Ran out of time to install ss clutch line and clear corners though. Easiest car I've ever had to do the brakes on, that was a pleasant surprise. Only part that took a while was getting those damn rear caliper pistons to screw in all...

    Advice regarding MA title

As far as I know, the signature on the back needs to match the name on the front. I agree, TT the registry and see what they have to say. They may not accept the title as is. They may want another title printed and filled out correctly, think that costs 50 bucks, but the original owner would...

    miata guys...

I should have grabbed the plate # as I drove by the wreck. If I had left 5mins earlier I would have seen it happen. How you roll a miata in a 35mph zone with no turns is beyond me (scratch).
