so basically this process isn't reverseable? I really rather not break it if I don't have to but by the looks of it the only way to go back to stock is to buy that compartment again.

I was trying to figure that out but I see two problems with that. My goal is to not break the latch if I don't have to. I don't have the guages yet but I just got this from my gf and I was trying to find a way to make it all work out. I don't think it would cover the latch(opening mechanism)...
