    Why get AWD?

    I have AWD here in Sunny south Florida. I don't think the AWD has ever actually engaged. So I have heavier vehicle with slightly less fuel economy that cost over $1k more. All that said, I believe tire quality reins supreme when it comes to safety and handling.
