    Mazda 5 camber problem

It appears that your wheels have less positive offset than stock putting them further out; which makes it sit lower and increasing neg. camber.

    Gas cap

Mine is an '09 and the cap worked fine until the last time. Weather had cooled, but I don't know if that had anything to do with it. I suspect Mazda changed the plastic to reduce the coefficient of friction.

    Gas cap

I distinctly remember a thread on a gas cap problem, but I can't seem to find it. Anyone know where it is hiding. I could not get mine off today (and really needed to get gas) and had to really tear it up with a pair of channel locks to finally get it off. What is the story here?

    AC "squeal"?

The implication was that there was a TSB for the 5. It is easy to find the one for the Protege, but I don't believe there is one for the 5.

    Sticky gearchange ?!

Sounds like a bad master cylinder. He may have changed the wrong one. I assume you are not losing fluid? Check the resovoir. If the fluid is still there then it is either the master or he installed a bad slave.

Looking for center console color match for 09 M5

I recommend it not be gloss. I painted my Metra radio trim (Clutchfield) with flat black, Rustoleum Camo Flat Black. Make sure it is very clean. A sanding with 400 grit sand paper will help. Paint using 6-8 thin layers. Don't get in a hurry. Mine turned out great and looks like it came from the...

Grinding noise going from neutral to 5th

Bad practice all the way around. Safety - Brakes can overheat and you cannot accelerate out of the way of a danger. Also, you will definitely have reduced braking capability. Economy - Using gas to keep the engine turning, and worse if you are using AC. Transmission - Without rev matching, you...

    Removed the intake resonator

Everyone on this thread should read everything in Skyhawk's post - and believe it.

Are kits for '06/'07 same as '08/'09? (manual vs. auto climate control)

Funny, I bought a JVC radio from Crutchfield and it came with a kit that fit perfectly. I have an '09 sport manual transmission with manual HVAC controls. The finish was a little more shiny so I painted it flat black to match the rest of the dash. Here is a copy of part of my order (a little...

    Pulling at speed

Road crown? Does it pull to the right when you are in the left lane? If not, you need more cross caster. How to get it is another story. Not much adjustment is available.

    Mazda5 Alignment Specs?

Front Toe-in: Tire 2mm +-4 Inner rim 1 +-3 Caster with 1/2 tank of gas: 2.9 degrees +- 1 degree camber: -0 degrees 41 minutes +- 1 degree Rear Toe-in: Tire - 3mm Rim - 2 Camber: -1.25 degrees +-1 degree Now, since only the toe is adjustable, why do you want to know...

    Scosche Dash Kit For Mazda5

I talked with Crutchfield yesterday and the faceplate that they supply for the 5 now is not Scosche but Metra if I heard correctly. I have just ordered a radio and installation kit.
