Took a cab home last night, grabbed my spare key and drove back in my wifes car, that key didn't work either. Never had the slightest problem with it before. It was too dark to fool with it last night so am going back today, but I'm clueless.

Yes if thats the light that is the car with th key in it. I have never noticed it flash before.

I have a 2001 Tribute V6-ES Automatic. I went to the store last night, came out and it won't start. I turn the key and all lights on the dash come on but no sound of ignition. Radio works fine headlights fine, door locks fine, etc. Any ideas or should I tow to the dealer?
