Thanks for the reply, I did follow up and am still in a fog ..... I know I need the metal cap with screws and also the plastic plat that goes next to it. I have been trying to locate replacement from the junk-yards. So far no luck. I guess I will pull the unit apart and take the defective parts...

fuel pump leak Do me a favor. I am looking at fixing the same problem and need to know where to get a new cover with the plastic piece that goes with it. The pump etc is working fine. Thanks. Rudy.

I have a leak on the top of my gas tank. Went thru the trouble of removing tank and checking for leak. Finally decided tank itself was OK and was looking for leaks in hoses. All looked good till we tried to start up the car while keeping eye on hose connections ..... then we noticed gas coming...
