    New Brake Calipers

I need new brake calipers for my 2005 Mazda 6 and I'd like to upgrade from stock. Maybe not the top of the line Brembos but something quality. Any suggestions?

Do you know if they can refinish disk brake calipers and wheel hubs? I just got new wheels (see my other thread) and now my old rusted calipers/hubs are needing some love.

    Wheels wheels wheelS!

Update! After much deliberation, decided on these! MSR 105's - 18x7.5 at 25lbs encased in Falken Ziex ZE-912's. Pretty happy with them so far. Couple of pics below. What do you think?

I dont pretend to be mechanically inclined at all. Anything car related I take to Velocity Auto Works on Willingdon in Burnaby (http://www3.telus.net/velocity/about_us.htm). Brian is the man and the service is fast and more than reasonable.

    Wheels wheels wheelS!

Thanks P5inder, I'll keep the strength/weight ratio in mind. What is considered light in an 18" rim? Like 18-20lbs?

    Wheels wheels wheelS!

I may be getting a good deal on some wheels. Anybody know anything about Stern http://www.1010tires.com/wheelsearch.asp?brand=Stern or ADR http://www.adrwheels.ca/ ? Are these good investments? Garbage metal? In-between?

    New Goodies!

Putting this in my '04 Mazda6 wagon along with new brake pads/rotors. In May/June, new wheels too! Thanks to lowandslow, 90210brandon for their input. Will update with pics when the new wheels are on.

I think I'd like that air intake: will it fit a Mazda6 wagon?

Thanks guys, I have a connection at lordco so I think I can get some sweet deals on performance parts. This is the CAI I was thinking of (or something along these lines): http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=69-6026TS or one of these...

Thanks Matt, I don't want to go too crazy...just the basics. I think the cold air intake and exhaust upgrade is a good start. IMO the stock exhaust sounds pretty deep and throaty already, but I understand that a CAI usually requires a bigger exhaust system (more air in = more air out). I don't...

Hey guys, Just got an '04 Mazda6 Wagon. It's a sweet car and I'm really happy with the V6 performance, however... I was wondering what others on this forum typically start with as far as upgrades? I'm thinking mostly cosmetic/performance like wheels, etc. Any advice is appreciated, thanks...
