If any of these models (ie Grand Touring) have the darkness sensor then our cars may have them as well, but won't work because of the switch. That was the case on our Magnum, but this is a whole other can of worms- just hoping that it's that easy again.

Heat is your friend on this deal, but you can also use some dental floss to get it started on one end. Same story for emblems (assuming they are attached only by adhesive). My wife bought our 5 two days ago and I'm currently in Iraq so I won't be able to tell you which emblems are stuck on...

Does this switch also provide the auto headlight function for a Sport?

Use 3M adhesive remover to get the "goo" off. They make the adhesive that's used to stick the stuff on, they know how to get it off. You can buy it at automotive stores and it works great for getting inspection sticker residue off as well.
