    Cold air intake Void Warranty?

That's what I bought, a K&N CAI with an AEM air bypass valve to make sure I won't hydrolock the engine. I have it on my car for 2 or 3 months now without any problem. I personally recommend that you buy the AEM air bypass valve 2.5" to go with it. It gives an added protection.

    K&N Typhoon cai Installed

Did you paint your calipers yourself, if yes how did you do it and what kind of paint did you use? Did you remove the whole calipers from the car (unhook the brake hose and all)?

    K&N Typhoon cai Installed

Buy the AEM 2.5" air bypass valve and instead of using what is in the K&N kit to connect the upper and lower pipe, use the AEM air bypass valve. It is one more safety feature against hydro locking if the whole filter gets submerged.

    K&N Typhoon cai Installed

I installed my new K&N Typhoon cai last weekend. The K&N Typhoon is a 2 pieces cold air intake and I replaced the rubber connector between the upper tube and the lower tube by a 2.5 AEM air bypass valve. Unfortunately I dont have any picture for you, I dont have a digital camera, but I can...

    225/45/17

According to the Tire Rack results and survey, they are suppose to be excellent. In the online survey they are number 1 out of 17 high performance all season tires and they have the best wet traction of all equal with the Pirelli PZero Nero M&S. In Tire Rack private testing they are second...

    225/45/17

I went on the Tire Rack website and looked at the offered sizes for the KUMHO ECSTA ASX which I think is the same tire you are talking about and the size 225/40/17 is not offered. In fact, when you do a search for all available tires of this size you get nothing. The guy from Tire Rack is...

    225/45/17

Here is the deal. According to the data found on www.tirerack.com your OEM tire has around 837 revs per mile. Based on the number of revs per mile you can find the overall diameter of your wheel/tire combo. Here is how you do it (I used my OEM tire because it is listed on the website): 63360...

    235/40/18 tires

Hey goldwing2000, can we fit 235/18 in there. Wheelmax is suggesting a 235/40/18 to be mounted on a 18 x 7.5 wheel for our car. I think they are making a mistake, first the wheel is not wide enough for the tire and second a 235 tire is way bigger than the OEM tire, it will probably rub...

    235/40/18 tires

Hi everybody, is there someone who equipped his or her car with tires that wide yet???(that size or 225/40/18) I want to know if you had some problem making them fit on the car. If someone did it, he or she had to change the wheels ( the stock wheels are too narrow) what offset and width did...

    how many miles

30 000 miles since december 21st 2004. I got to replace the air bag sensor, the engine temp sensor and thermostat and the engine under shield (cart board piece under the front of the car). All of that was under warranty. I'm still on the OEM tires, but will have to change them this year...

Car was shaking in the rain

cbcbd is right, it's wheel hop. Very surprising at first but you will get use to it. This car is very sensitive to wheel hop in fact it's the most sensitive I have ever driven. Be careful when it happens though, if you keep pushing hard on the gas pedal you can brake something. (I think)
