hey guys this is the second set iv had throwing ideas of the turbo mp3 around but i like my reliable daily so thats how itll stay.

the turbo has very minimal shaft play no nicks dents in the blades...
god its been over 3 yrs id say 1-2ish but when your a cheap ass at the time thats alot.

yes less stored rotational energy due to less weight it takes more power/energy from the engine to mantain speed because of it. although you get that nice peppy rev also because it takes less power to accelerate that mass due to the lowered weight

mind you i kinda went to the extreme end of...
some ecu's will cut injectors at high rpm with zero throttle input untill rpm comes down to a cetain point like 1500-1200rpm enough time to catch your idle. not sure if the oem mazda ecu does this or not. not to mention engine braking promotes brake life as well.

well obviously if your boosted your WILL get worse gas mileage but if you dont change your driving habits between summer and winter the difference you see is the different blends of fuel for the seasons, yes they change. also iv personally noticed 3-4 mpg drop when using 10-15% ethonol fuel...
