what did you use to tap the brake booster line. that's one beefcake of a hose

sweet thanks guys i'll try it out oh yah maxxmazda that slight hesitation can be a few things that i've narrowed it down too: overly rich condition as the ecu (mazdaspeed in my case) sees boost slight clutch slip like maybe the clutch is "glazed" or heat soak from the intercooler

i boosted my 02 protege lx w/ a custom setup. currently runnin 7psi but can't find a good vacuum for my bov. i'm definetly gettin turkeys and its pissin me off. i tapped the cruise control for my bov and boost gauge, boost gauge is fine, but apparantly not good enough for bov. any help or...

thank you for all your help w/ my random questions about the msp ecu and whatever else i didn't quite understand. she runs and pulls pretty darn good for 7psi. i'll get pics up soon

so no new fuel pump or injectors??? just stock protege + msp ecu?

hey i need some help again. i just bough a mazdaspeed ecu from ebay, i'm assuming its an msp because the seller had other msp parts such as wiring harness, intercooler, and the lot (no turbo/mani :( ). newayz is there anyway to check the ecu once it gets here to make sure its a mazdaspeed...

so i continued my research on this forum. from what i gather i can just blow boost thru the stock maf??? that doesn't make sense to me, i was going to relocate it it front of the turbo so the engine won't "see" the boost. also, where can i get a voltage clamp for the 02 sensor on the exhaust...

why do i need a voltage clamp for an fmu?????

how major are these modifications, i've got that side mount too, so i could always throw that in the engine bay and run that too.

yah i'm kinda interested. what kind of kit is it? is it used, and does it come w/ any fuel system upgrades?

thanx everyone that has helped me with this so far. i was thinkin about buying a charge pipe kit cuz the pieces are cut small enough that i might be able to work w/ it, also the srt4 fmic isn't too tall but i have a side mount as well if i can't get it to fit. does anyone know how to get ahold...

why is it a waste of time? obviously subaru and dodge put those components on their cars for a reason-dependibility-plus honda's run diy turbo kits all the time. i wanted a relevant response, looks like i'm not gonna get it.

hey i'm new but i've had my protege new since 02 minor mods lowered/rims body stuff u know blah i'm goin turbo and i have a 02 wrx turbo its a td04 i think? (tiny) and an srt-4 front mount intercooler. i'm lookin for help on how to get this accomplished. will a 12:1 fmu be good for 6-8 lbs daily...
