he actually had found an aftermarket car alarm for $20, and he's just keeping to car until the end of school and then getting a new one. so only for a couple months. someone actually broke into his car and broke both locks, and he wants to put the least amount of money as possible into the car.

this is for a friend's 99 Mazda Millenia he has the stock keyless entry/alarm, but he lost the key fob for it and mazda wants some ridiculous price for a new one. he can get a cheap aftermarket one and replace the stock one. anyways, what he's wondering... can the stock module be removed and...
