To be fair, the 2017 MDX will not be considered "totally redesigned." It's just a mid cycle refresh. The front grill is redesigned, but interior layout, powertrain, and technology will be little changed.

My question is, did you get to sit in the third row? Is it going to fit adults? Obviously I don't mean for long trips, but we had an Infiniti jx35 (qx60 now) and I could actually sit in the 3rd row with just enough headspace for no more than an hour drive. And I'm 6'3"!

I don't think that's the case, I called Mazda's Jacksonville, FL shipping port and they said that the first CX-9s won't arrive here until June 15, then by time shipping to the dealers happens, it won't be until July 1st that they'd go on sale.
