Well I was bracing myself for torque converter replacement egged on after submitting symptoms to Chat GPT but after a test drive by a specialist at the Mazda service facility it turns out to be the engine mounts. Phew! Now I have to wait ten days for them to arrive from Bogotá. Thanks again...

I've just started noticing a strong vibration, almost shuddering when applying throttle under 2000 rpm. I don't feel it when engine is reving higher. Car is a 2020 Signature with 88,000 kilometers or about 55,000 miles. What could the cause be? 2020 CX-5

Very good though in some cases (like mine) it could be very difficult to get a strap under the car.

Only problem with that is at least in my case there was no possibility of pulling my car straight back. The vehicle pulling me out couldn't have been positioned directly behind me instead it was to one side however the eye bolt didn't bend nor the receptacle so far as I can tell.

I didn't know that. Odd. How else is the car supposed to be pulled out of a ditch? There are no other attachment points for a tow cable that I can find. Also why are the eye bolts included in the tool kit if not for extraction?

I know there are many threads on checking engine oil but I'm still not clear on this. Can you check the engine oil level on a cold engine as in days of yore?

The retracting mirrors have been a pain in the neck in my car since about a year after I bought it. I've evenn replaced the the driver side and its still hit and miss.
