What's the difference between the MSP Transmission and the Protege/Protege5 Transmission besides the LSD? Can I put the regular 2.0L Protege transmission in the MSP and everything will bolt up and work fine? I'm trying to source a transmission for the MSP and its proving very difficult.

Bought it with the throwout bearing whining. Got too lazy to replace the clutch til it finally broke. Sucks it got that far, but yeah

HA! Upon further review, transmission is good. Throwout bearing and clutch are not so much. Bell housing can be repaired Whew!

Transmission and housing. Throwout bearing was whining for abt 20K, then pieces of the clutch broke off and theres holes in the bell housing. So just going to be safe and do the transmission over and brand new clutch.

Anyone got one for the Protege, preferrably an 03?! Mine finally went out after 82K miles. Let me know.

Mine is up for sale again too and I'm in kaukauna. Contact me if you want more info, but I've got to replace the broken pieces before you can have it. The typical transmission issue, so you wont have it anymore :)

My MSP hood took some damage off 41 last night....Porsche in front of me kicked up a big chunk of road debris and smashed my hood.... Anyone got a hood in good shape?

The whole third brake light housing just broke off my car on my commute to work. Both pillars that hold the bolts in place have cracked in half. How do I fix this? it is currently electric taped around my spoiler to keep it from swaying in the wind and scratching the paint up. Can I just order...
