    "Windy" AC in auto mode

Sorry, this is 3 years old now and it seems like I went MIA... lol Let's say, covid happened, other life events happened, and I forgot about this thread. But thanks everyone for your responses. I live in North Jersey. The temps get very high and humid in the summer. My side windows are tinted...

    "Windy" AC in auto mode

I've had quite a few cars with AC auto mode in the past, and the normal operation in auto, for cold temperature on a hot day, would be that the blower starts up high, but within a minute or so it starts slowing down, and eventually the blower is a close to low speed, very quiet. We've had the...

Mazda 2.5L Turbo - Oil Fuel Dilution Issues?

In my experience, service may use any lies to negate your findings. But demand them to acknowledge the problem when it comes up again, and take details records of your visit. Main 2 things you should do at this point: 1) Open claim with Mazda directly. This is the date from which lemon law case...

Mazda 2.5L Turbo - Oil Fuel Dilution Issues?

I know... it pisses me off, too. You don't know how many times I asked the dealer to provide me copy of the prep checklist.. and I never got it. Obviously some prep was done, or stuff wouldn't work, but apparently not the tires... And at that point even if I got a copy, I'm sure it would've been...

Mazda 2.5L Turbo - Oil Fuel Dilution Issues?

About 2k miles now. Luckily I don't think I have the oil dilution problem, at least not now. Turned the engine on to warm up for few minutes, turned it off and let it stand for 2 min, checked oil level and it was exactly in the middle between low and high. I don't smell gasoline, it's...

Mazda 2.5L Turbo - Oil Fuel Dilution Issues?

oh maan... not again... now I have to check my oil. I really hope our cx-9 is fine. I run 87 most of the time. The manual doesn't specifically say you have to run higher, just that it can't be lower than 87. Still on original oil, and I don't remember now if I checked the level after picking it...

    2019 CX-9 - list of design problems/complaints

That's quite true, I had no time to experiment with the car in person much. I did thorough research by reading reviews and watching youtube reviews, and most of this stuff was not mentioned anywhere (except for limited storage). I focused more on price bargaining with about 30 different...

    2019 CX-9 - list of design problems/complaints

Fully agree on all 3. TPMS readout per each tire is a peculiar feature. It's something that to most drivers may seem like good to have but not very important in every day drive... until bad luck happens.. Lack of good tpms never bothered me in the past for years, until I've had several bad...

    2019 CX-9 - list of design problems/complaints

Interesting to compare. I've not noticed any road noise, so its possible they fixed it in 19. I also did not observe any problems with infotainment, no slowness and no blank display, works pretty well so far. Maybe they upgraded... Other things obviously i cant comment on this early.

    2019 CX-9 - list of design problems/complaints

It would be funny... if it were true.. I dont think you read my post well, or perhaps I didnt make it clear. I did not know, test for, nor realized these shortcomings until after buying the car. I was exploring and testing different things in the car, but I had no time to test every possible...

    2019 CX-9 - list of design problems/complaints

Sry, I havent visited back in a while... On the topic of wipers, The '17 CRV touring we had before had rain sensing wipers and they were a nightmare, totally undependable, huge wipers and loud and squeaky as hell. Coming from that experience, the first time it rained we were driving the cx-9...

    2019 CX-9 - list of design problems/complaints

thanks everyone. Hockeye, excellent feedback. lane centering is exactly what I miss coming from '17 crv. Gimmick or not, I found it useful on many occasions. I never had a chance to test this in Mazda before I bought it, but buying a newer and more expensive car I wrongly assumed this feature...

    2019 CX-9 - list of design problems/complaints

@ Montanaman Again, I don't deny there are definite advantages and great things in this car. I'm especially happy about the choice of navi with the 3D (besides the obvious powertrain). I hate that stupid Garmin manufacturers have been putting in their cars for years. It was garbage to begin with...

    2019 CX-9 - list of design problems/complaints

Yes. Stem caps or sensors inside, not much difference in technology, and it gives you each wheel readout of pressure and temp. Got it in my other car and it works flawlessly. $40 on ebay. That's not my point. Coming from Dodge Grand Caravan excellent seat versatility, I must be spoiled then :)...

    2019 CX-9 - list of design problems/complaints

thank you, and just to respond to some of these: :) Yes, I did test drive the car, and I liked the way it drove, but I did more research online than live. The things I listed above, either I didn't spend enough time to notice them (like the seat adjustment), ommitted checking some of them...
