update!! Well I spent the weekend trying to set up a date to go take a look at the car.. and even though he says he is a dealer, it is not really from a dealership location that i could just come look at it.. it is a person that is a licensed dealer.. anyways, I didn't get to see it.. so Fukc...

Like the title says, I want to buy a Protege5 or a msp or a mazda3 or a 6.. The one MUST is: MANUAL TRANSMISSION!!!! other than that we can work out the price according to millage and the such.. I also want to stay under $6000 Show me what you got.. if you are less than 10 hours away or so...

where are the pics of the car itself? all i see is a picture of the username stuff on the windshield...

oh ok.. well the timing belt is about 35 and the water pump is another 35.. is there any write-ups on how to replace this??

What if the timing belt and water pump have not been changed yet? is 105k the time that they must be replaced?

thank you for the tips! I have had several manual tranny cars but the past 2 have been auto so I will need to drive my brothers car there to get a feel of the clutch engaging thing.. I will keep you guys posted as soon as I test drive it..

when you talk erratic, do you mean 200RPMS jumps or less? the car is at a very low price. but he has never replaced the clutch.. do clutches go out easy on p5s? I want to see what all i need to spend..

^^^ agreed!! What should I look for to be functioning properly ? Meaning, what is the most common issue p5s have? Maximas for example, have problems with tranny slippage.. And yeah I noticed the lug nut.. Lol

Oh I'm driving that way to spend the weekend with the family. Lol..
