The bars from the sheild are securely bolted to the intake, and the air filter nipple is in the hole at the other end. What did you do to fix your rattle???

This picture might show why the aluminum shield rattles so much. It's not supported on the sides, just front & rear. Got to have a way to dampen out the high rpm rattle.

Mobil 1 synthetic reduces friction enough to give a 5-10 hp gain, maybe more. I've dyno'd GM V-8's and gotten 25 hp. It also is very good for turbo motors with high RPM and lots of heat. It holds up really well, and I'll go 5000 miles before changing oil. I live in So. Calif. and it's hot here...
