Yeah, thats true. I had a M3 and just ended up ripping out the factory radio and replacing it with one that had everything in it that I wanted...

Becuase they arent that much less than just getting a ipod interface... I guess if you had a zune, thats a diff story. Id rather just get a system that is made for iPod, thats what I have now and its so much better than a aux in. Plus, for long trips it charges it and you dont get engine noise...

You should take it to MAZDA, and have them tell you whats wrong with it... Then submit that to your insurance, getting two opinions never hurts. They probly took to a mom and pop shop, and thats what they told them. It should be checked out. Other than that, have them clean it... If that doesnt...
