Thanks for the suggestions! Turns out the problem was a clogged catalytic converter. I ended up taking it out, soaking it for 24hours in dish soap and water, then scrubbed it good and rinsed for a while. Not a 100% effective im sure, but it did the trick and the car runs good again.
