Yeah, the car we traded in was a 2013 Altima S. It got on average 32 mpg. Best we got was 36 in it.

First tank so far which is probably not as accurate because they didn't reset the trip when they filled it up, but it still got 31 mpg. Not bad at all!

Honestly, she doesn't even like using her phone with the bluetooth system in the car. So she doesn't have it hooked in. So Apple/Android isn't a deal breaker for her at least. Our Altima with the same engine did 36 mixed driving most of the time. That was about 70% highway and 30% city...

Agreed 100%. It is what she likes. And the interior is much better quality over the current CX-5. The stitching looks real in the Nissan where in the Mazda its fake. Seats are not as comfortable in the Mazda. Very small seats actually in width. She noticed that as well.

We definitely do not like the CVT, but it has been pretty reliable in our Altima. The new one actually "pretends" to shift now in the 17 Rogue. Like the Maxima does.

You haven't driven the new rogue. It is fairly fun to drive and handles just like the CX-5 without the punishing ride. I don't expect to push it through an Autox course, so the handling doesn't need to be like that of the CX-5. If it can do an emergency lane change without feeling tipsy, then...

MSRP was around $33,800, and we got it for $29,421 before TTL. Our car was worth 9700, so financed was around $21k.

Definitely one of the selling points that drew us to it.

Same engine as our 2013 Altima, and valve inspections is not part of it. Also, you will be surprised, it handles pretty close to the CX-5 but less punishing. I believe they changed the suspension on the update for 2017.

Yeah, she didn;t like the tail end of it.

Too pricey as she needed leather. It went way over the price of the others. And actually the CRV isn't the best, the RAV4 is. 8) Jeep Patriot (75,405 sales) ... 7) Subaru Forester (95,111 sales) ... 6) Jeep Cherokee (118,103 sales) ... 5) Chevrolet Equinox (143,202 sales) ... 4) Ford Escape...

Well, we haven't signed papers yet, but all the drives are done. Unfortunately the CX-5 did not get it. How she rated them below and we added one more vehicle to the list as well. 1. 2017 Nissan Rogue SL (all options, safety, etc) 2. 2017 Chevy Equinox Premier 3. 2016.5 Mazda CX-5 GT...
