    I soooooo hope so. Slapping a Ford logo onto a Mazda6 chassis with some changes to the body panels, and a nice V6 280-300 hp Yamaha V6 under the hood would make a killer evolution for the Taurus.     Why thanks, it is one hell of a machine. They neutered it too much when they came out with an ATX version in 93, and made the biggest mistake droping the V6 Yamaha engine in favor of the V8 Found in 96-99 SHO's.

    Does anyone happen to know what the lug pattern and backspacing on the 6s is? My father just picked up a 6s up and I wanted to see if a 16X6.5, 5X4.5in lugs will work for him as snow rims for the winter. Thanks

    Taurus Vulcan engines don't suck, they are quite a durable engine, and while underpowered for the car, they work. I had a 94 Taurus GL 3.0 (vulcan) and it ran flawlessly to 168k till an accident. I have a 95 Taurus SE 3.0 (vulcan again) and I drove that to 118k before the tranny crapped out, but...
