Sorry no I have not fixed the brake master cylinder leak yet. It's not something that I was rushing to do cause I believe the leak has been there since I had the car. It's a very slow leak. When the gear problem first occured the fluid was only half full anyways so I figured if that was the...
I am going to answer this real quick so I can have my thread back! If there is a possibilty of air in there then yes you should bleed the clutch. The slave cylinder is located on the front of your tranny. I had to take off my intake piping coming off of the turbo to get to it with a wrench. You...
Hmmmm I will have to check into the gear issue if the problem persist. It actually has gotten alittle bit better the last few days. And I forgot to mention I changed the tranny fluid about two weeks ago with Pennzoil syncromesh and an LSD additive. It didn't completely fix the problem however it...
Bringing this topic back to life, sorry. So I took my car to the transmission place in town where they do free diagnostics and surprise surprise they couldn't get the problem to happen. They suggested that my clutch may be on it's way out but to me that doesn't make sense. If it was my clutch...
Hey mgerst1 is your problem just your rear suspension squeaking or front to? Mine is both.
So did you just replace the front and rear bushings? Also was it an easy fix?
I am having pretty much the same problem. I am pretty sure it is the springs everytime I sit in my car they squeak and no I am not a big guy at all, and I can hear it going over almost every bump. There has got to be a cheaper route then buying new springs atleast I hope so.
So is this brake master cylinder something that can be done without having to take it somewhere. From what it looks like it is just a couple bolt and and I imagine bleed the break and slave again.
