I'm sure it's been discussed thoroughly, so maybe someone can redirect me, but which struts does everyone recommend for a mazda 3? nobody that i'm familiar with even makes struts for this car...

prolly true. i just don't like having to fight so hard to keep the front end down...personnal prefference i guess...i was just wondering because i see 600's everywhere, but very few people have anything bigger.

so remind me now why it is that everyone wants a 600cc? i've never been interested in anything less than 1000, for stability if nothing else...

now that i'm too lazy to find it again, what causes the hissing? (i finally turned my stereo down so i could hear it...)

has anyone else been having trouble with cats? i already had to get one warranteed and now i am getting horrible gas mileage which makes me think the ones after the sensor that won't throw a cel are bad. but now i'm at 36,000 so i don't think it will still be warranteed so i'm just waiting for...

225 45 18 is about an inch taller than the ones that came on the car. it will rub like crazy, and might break some of the clips that hold the bumper on depending on how bad they rub...being a rwd the wheels off the 8 are a different offset and will only add to the problem

you could try rollin your fenders. if the offset doesn't suck too bad that might take care of it.

damn freaking straight. 15's are not going to handle as well and these cars with a 17 still have enought rubber to keep good ride quality. it will be very noticeable if you go much bigger than a 17. and again i'll ask what good it is to go fast on a tire that will explode under the extra...
