thanks zio. I just called one of my friends whos G.F grew up in Vt and she said that people swear by those hankkaplitta's in winter. so yeah, I think I'll get them. I was told I should get 4, not just 2. I hate spending money, but I hate getting stuck more.

Has anyone had any experience with the Goodyear Eagle GT +4 or the Nokian Hakkapelitti I need winter grip tires. My Kuhmo ecsta 712's do nothing in snow! Can I get away with snow tires on just the front or should I get 4? Any advice is appreciated. I'm buying after work today!
