    Honestly i'm not sure. The only difference I am aware of though is a different 02 sensor that was used in the early years. Turbo is the same, not sure if the single exit exhaust played a role in the downpipe style or not for the early years.

    Sounds like small electric motor running when MS3 is off

    The sound comes from near the throttle body, so it seems that the drive by wire theory is correct.
